| Information | Södra Fågelås är sedan den 1 januari 1962 annexförsamling i Norra Fågelås, Södra Fågelås och Brandstorps församlingars pastorat. Under tiden 14 mars 1902 till 31 december 1961 var Södra Fågelås annexförsamling i Norra Fågelås och Södra Fågelås församlingars pastorat. Tidigare hette pastoratet Fågelås och bestod av Fågelås kyrkosocken jämte kapell. Det senare var beläget i och omfattade Södra Fågelås. Intill den 1 maj 1873 var Fågelås moderförsamling i Fågelås, Hjo lands- och Hjo stadsförsamlingars pastorat. Under 1600- och 1700-talen fanns ännu en kyrka inom pastoratet, Nykyrka kapell.
